Our initiative is based on an observation: the recovery of fatal heat via heating networks is difficult to achieve. This is because less than 20% of the recoverable heat is close to a heat network that are often already supplied. Creating new grids is a progressive process and it does not enable to recover great quantities of heat rapidly. The investment is never done because of the insufficient market.

Moreover, the heat is only used in winter which triggers a lower energy efficiency than announced. The high temperature heat is injected into the networks at low temperatures. One solution: co-valuation.

The principle is simple: we first capture all the heat available by converting it, through an ORC system, into electricity or heat if necessary. As heat consumers are found in the vicinity, the production of electricity is adapted, partly replaced by the heat production. 

As the heat market is more profitable than the electricity one, this parameters’ modification is cost-effective.

Customized third party-funded contracts

The price of energy continues to rise, and this trend seems to be confirmed in the coming years. Therefore our offer allows industrial sites to have access to electricity (and heat if needed) at a competitive and fixed price compared to a minimum of 15-year energy services contract market.

We offer support by creating an Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) company financed by investors, loans and subsidies such as Energy Saving Certificates. The client may participate in the shareholder equity of the project company (majority or minority). This dedicated entity will contract with our partners for the turnkey installation and will carry out the operation and maintenance of fatal heat recovery systems. The customer will have the possibility to purchase these technologies at the end of the contract or during the contract.
